I was inspired to do this drawing because I have a friend with a longhorn steer. I was able to capture the cattle drive and the cowboys in the drawing because we live in a small cowtown and there is a cattle drive down through the middle of town a couple times a year. It's like bringing the past into the future. To be able to see a cattle drive in the present day is quite an experience. The drawing is done in Artist's Quality Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, and to be able to draw something like this is very exciting.
